It is arguably Australia's most recognised Cabernet Sauvignon and has more than any other, helped define Coonawarra. The wine is matured in new and seasoned French oak for 12 to 18 months.

"A very deep, bright, youthful purple colour leads into a superbly ripe cabernet nose, black fruits and smoky, graphite aromas with a faint suggestion of bitumen or creosote. No greener, leafy notes at all. The wine is full-bodied yet elegantly stated, with richness and intensity and terrific palate length. There's a lovely fruit-sweet core to it.
