High value old vine grenache from an esteemed 'new guard' producer in McLaren Vale.

Starts with a light touch and raspberry fruit but gradually firms up as the fruit tightens, darkens, and gets progressively more serious. A very good halfway house for the variety.

"Blewitt Springs, Seaview and Whites Valley, with all vines north of 70 years; some bunch, some full carbonic, all native ferments, then nine months in seasoned oak. This was picked on the early-ish side, yet the swell of fruit flavour is effusive. And in the best sense. It's a wine that lures you in, seductive with its sultry florals and dark red and black fruits. It's savoury, too, detailed with fine Medina spices and dried Mediterranean herbs. We use Australia Post for most deliveries but also Challenge Logistics for same day deliveries into Melbourne.

What If I Won’t Be Home?

No order will be left unattended unless you authorise us to do so. If you would like the postie to leave the order, then please tell us in the delivery instructions buy saying something like "leave at back door". If there is no one home and no instruction, the courier will leave a card letting you know to pick the parcel up at the nearest post office.
