Not to be confused with the Old Vine Moculta Single Vineyard releases from the same year, this wine was sourced from a selection of 90 year old Barossa Mataro rooted in the Lights Pass sub-region between Angaston and Nuriootpa. Fermented naturally, the wine spent a total of three weeks on skins before 16 months in old French oak, and then a stretch in stainless steel to freshen the wine up.
"Hard to believe this vintage is still available. Sinewy, some tang, saline and olives. Soft but focused acid. Drinking younger than its 11yrs but not sure this needs keeping. Somewhat better than the 2010 Mataro from Soul Growers consumed a few months back." Stewart @ Slowbeer

Who Delivers Your Order?
We use Australia Post for most deliveries but also Challenge Logistics for same day deliveries into Melbourne.
What If I Won’t Be Home?
No order will be left unattended unless you authorise us to do so. If you would like the postie to leave the order, then please tell us in the delivery instructions buy saying something like "leave at back door". If there is no one home and no instruction, the courier will leave a card letting you know to pick the parcel up at the nearest post office.
