Schlenkerla Helles Lagerbier (often referred to as a Helles Märzen or simply a traditional Franconian lager) is a pale, bottom-fermented German lager brewed by the historic Schlenkerla brewery in Bamberg, Germany.

While it is brewed in the traditional Märzen strength (around 4.3% ABV), it differs from their famous smoked Rauchbier by using malt dried using modern kilning rather than direct beechwood smoke. However, because it is brewed in the same traditional brewhouse using equipment that handles smoked malts, it retains a very faint, delicate hint of background smoke while showcasing a clean, crisp, bready, and malt-forward profile typical of a classic Munich-style Helles.
