Even for the sparsely populated Gippsland region (in terms of wineries) Narkoojee remains a little under the radar. It was, initially, some very good efforts with Chardonnay that build a reputation but in recent years Pinot Noir and Merlot have flown the flag. Mind you, the Chardonnay remains one of the region's best. The wines are very consistent but it probably helps that Narkoojee is locted on the western border of East Gippsland and thus is typically a recipient of warmer weather.
"Ready to go if I ever saw one. Clean cherry, bitter dark notes late. Fruit forward and very attractive." Stewart @ GSW
