"It can get awfully hot at King River Brewing's High Country home and while the brewery's tree-filled garden helps fight back the heat, so too can this beer. Although its the perfect setting to drink that beer in, such is its popularity that it can't just be found at the taproom during summer, but year-round in tins too.

The fruited looks like thick juice or purée and, from the off, it makes no effort to hide its star ingredient. Fleshy mango is prominent on the nose, the silky palate, the belch test. Beer Backgrounder - Berliner Weisse

Berliner Weisse is a cloudy, tart, and refreshing sour wheat ale originating from Northern Germany, dating back to at least the 16th century. Known for its low alcohol content (typically 2.8%–3.8% ABV) and high carbonation, it was historically referred to as "the Champagne of the North" by Napoleon's troops in 1809.

By the late 19th century, it was the most popular alcoholic drink in Berlin, produced by up to fifty breweries. However, by the late 20th century, the style nearly died out, with only a few native brands remaining, such as Berliner Kindl and Schultheiss. It has recently seen a revival through the craft beer movement worldwide.
