Geoff Weaver is a pioneer of the Adelaide Hills, planting his Lenswood vineyard in 1982, before the region had earned a name for fine wine. A former chief winemaker for Hardys, Geoff leftcorporate winemaking to focus on a more personal vision: crafting pure, expressive wines that reflect the place he calls home. Through devastating bushfires and decades of change, Geoff has remained quietly dedicated, letting his wines speak for themselves with
precision, grace, and calm intensity.
The vineyard, nestled at 500–550m in Lenswood, is ideal for cool-climate varieties like Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
"With four decades as custodian of the plantings he established in Lenswood with his father under his belt, Geoff Weaver is a true guardian of the Adelaide Hills. We were delighted to see his Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc win its category, for its quality but also for its incredible revival following the Cudlee Creek fires, which tore through Geoff ’s vineyard in 2019." Katrina Butler | Halliday Wine Companion | Sauvignon Blanc of the Year
"2026 Sauvignon Blanc of the Year. Score awarded by the Halliday tasting panel at the annual Awards judging. MB writes: Tip-top release of a regional stalwart. Classic lime and passionfruit characters with faint ginger, vanilla cream and pink grapefruit. Good concentration of flavour, length, too, with some fine, dusty pucker doing pleasing things. Excellent in its way, elevating a simple wine approach so well. Go in." 97pts | Mike Bennie | Halliday Wine Companion
