Quasimodo is a unique Australian blend of Nero d’Avola, Durif & Shiraz sourced from the regions of Eldorado and Rutherglen. It’s an amalgam of flavour and colour culminating in a complex rewarding wine.
"The winemaker uses the term "affable" to describe what he is aiming for. Affable it most certainly is. Nero d'Avola makes the running with its luscious raspberry, cherry fruits and herbs, while shiraz brings the spice and depth. The third player, durif, adds a dark, brooding tannic presence. Together they bring energy and fruit power to a supple, ripe and beautifully composed wine. A unique Aussie blend worth searching out." 95pts | Jeni Port | Halliday Wine Companion
