New Beers - April 21st 2026

A selection of the decent and interesting beers we received this week.

Sailor's Grave always do a good line in beach inspired flavours (salt, brine, minerals) and the 'Sea Bird Coastal' Hazy Pale Ale delivers. Mild salty notes, good zingy palate lift and some lemon touches late.

As previously disclosed I have a major soft spot for Jimmy K's outfit given I grew up a mere 30 drive away (ok - well the brewery wasn't established at the time but you get my point). The Tin Can Taffy is a Good Land 4th B-Day release colabed with Sailor's Grave. I guess you'd frame it as a light(ish) stout - chewy, salty and fudgey.

JKB Brewing is a slightly offbeat (refer IG vids) micro-micro-micro brewer that has made a great start in life knocking out excellent renditions of euro classics. This is a re-release of the Dark Wit that first did the rounds early last year. Uber smooth and friendly. We have a keg in the queue and expect it to go down nicely.
